The Bike Cave
Learn to repair or ride your bike! The Bike Cave can teach you how to repair your bicycle and how to safely cycle in San Marcos. The Bike Cave gets you on a bike and keeps you there. Come use our self-serve workstations, or pay a student bike tech to do it for you.
The Bike Cave is always looking for engaging people interested in helping promote biking on campus.
Bobcat Blend is a faculty managed, student-run and grant-supported research and teaching-oriented waste management campus composting program at Texas State University. The goals of the organization are to teach students, faculty and staff through daily operations and development of habits the environmental, economic, and intrinsic values of composting, in the cafeterias and in the classrooms, labs and landscapes on campus.
Bobcat Buzz is a student organization dedicated to the preservation of honey bees and the sharing of information about apiculture. Bobcat Buzz currently maintains hives on Texas State campus which gives a true opportunity for hands on learning. The organization is open to involvement of students from any major.

ECO is a diverse group of students who share a common appreciation for the environment. Through our local actions, we encourage progress and growth towards a global, sustainable future. The mission is put into action through three pillars of ECO; education, service and change.
H.E.A.T is a social service organization dedicated to improving the world through positive activism. H.E.A.T. promotes the ideas, people, and organizations taking steps forward rather than dwelling on the negative. We often collaborate with other organizations, using our numbers as a platform to create world-changing campaigns.
Net Impact empowers a new generation to drive social and environmental change throughout their careers.The volunteer-led chapter drives change by creating a like-minded community and providing events and programs that support members who aim to use business as a force for environmental & social impact.
Environmental Service Committee
The Environmental Service Committee (ESC) strives to make positive changes to the physical environment at Texas State University and in the greater San Marcos area. The ESC distributes funds collected from the Environmental Service Fee to start or continue environmental improvement projects.
